LAND AND OCEAN MAMMALS
(From half of June to September)
DAY 1 Friday: Upon arrival at Libreville airport, meet and assistance for a transit flight to Omboue at 07H30, then transfer to Loango Lodge at Iguela by a four wheel drive car. Lunch and first excursion in the national park. Dinner.
DAY 2 Saturday: Morning excursion with the hydro jet boat specially adapted to go and meet the humpback whales. They are between 2 to 3000 crossing the waters along the coast from June to September.
Afternoon safari in the park to go and see elephants, buffalos, antelopes, hippopotamus, crocodiles monkeys and birds.
DAY 3 Sunday: Morning excursion by boat for another whale's watching. Afternoon safari by car in the park
DAY 4 Monday: Departure for the heart of Loango NP for Akaka, located at 70km south Iguela, where the games gather in dry season near the swamps. Bivouac at Akaka.
DAY 5 Tuesday: Spot the games in and around the swamps: elephants, buffalos, antelopes, monkeys, red river hogs. Bivouac in Akaka
DAY 6 Wednesday: Morning in Akaka and return to Loango Lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 Thursday: In the morning last excursion to go and meet the whales and relaxing afternoon around the lagoon.
DAY 8 Friday: Transfer to Omboué and flight back to Libreville. Free afternoon before the transfer to the airport for your international flight.
Hotels, lodges and camps:
LOANGO LODGE: Recently rebuilt, this comfortable and charming lodge offers 10 bungalows with toilets and shower, hot water, air conditioning. Meals served in the lagoon restaurant.
LOURI/AKAKA: rustics tented camps. Outside bush toilets and shower.
All transfers, transports, domestic flights, accommodation, meals (except in Libreville and in the train), excursions, local guides in the parks and entry fees.

Prices are valid at the time being. Any increase of costs of carriers, hotels and lodges will be added as long as the total payment of the trip has not been completed.
